This decision was made in consultation with the City’s Emergency Preparedness Office. Classes are expected to resume on Thursday. St. Patrick's Adult School will be closed all day on Monday, September 24, 2018. The tornado that hit Ottawa on Friday caused extensive power outages and damage to several areas of the city. This decision was made in consultation with city emergency services for the safety of our learners and staff. All schools run by the Ottawa Catholic School Board and the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board are closed on this day.

We had more than 51 cm of snow in less than 24 hours on February 16. It was beautiful and disrupted traffic around the city. For many ESL students it was the first real experience of a Canadian winter.
